sometimes you have to prepare something for the family and you don't feel like it, at such a time you make food as simple and smooth as possible, but surprisingly even then it turns out to be more successful.

  • 8 whole turkey wings
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • green parsley
  • pepper

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Baked turkey wings:

  1. the wings are cut in half, cleaned well, washed and boiled in salted water.

  2. when they are almost cooked [about 40 minutes], take them out and put them in a tray.

  3. the oil is mixed with the paprika and balsamic vinegar, they are poured over the wings in the tray.

  4. add the tray with turkey wings for 10-15 minutes. in a well-heated oven.

  5. garnish with green parsley and kapia pepper.

Tips sites

1

the juice in which the wings were boiled is not thrown, it will be a good base for a soup, I put another grated carrot, I boiled it and I served it with boiled couscous.

2

put some more water in the oven so that the tray does not burn.

Ingredients

Step 1: - Spread the salt on an oven tray. Make sure you cover the area where the turkey will sit. Each part of the turkey that will not be on the salt will come into direct contact with the tray and that part will be burned. There will also be a lot of smoke, so you should cover the tray with a layer of at least 1cm.

Step 2: - place the turkey on top of the salt, in the center of the tray.

Step 3: - add spices on top of the turkey. You can also marinate the turkey before, but the beauty of this recipe is that the turkey will be great without any spice. This step is optional.

Step 4: - put the tray with the whole turkey in oven

Step 5: - keep the whole turkey in the oven without doing anything else. The turkey should stay in the oven until it looks like the photo next to it.
This means that you should keep the turkey for at least 3.5 hours for a 3 kg turkey at a temperature of about 130 degrees Celsius.
Again, the beauty is that if you forget the turkey in the oven, it should be ok for 1 extra hour, but not force the note :).
Make sure you check the turkey after 2 hours and every 30 minutes after those 2 hours.

Baked turkey with tomatoes

The other day I started cooking at home again (I took a break for almost three weeks, because I didn't get home until night). I took a nice backpack to the market. I bought a turkey wing (quite healthy, enough meat for four people) and a kilo of tiny, garden tomatoes. A zucchini, two heads of garlic and a handful of parsley completed the shopping basket.

I cut the tomatoes in two, cut the tomatoes into several pieces and put them all (including garlic, parsley, zucchini, two tablespoons of olive oil and a little salt + rosemary + pepper) in a heat-resistant saucepan. I put the pan in the oven well heated (a cup of water went over the tomatoes & ampcarne), reduced the temperature to 160 degrees Celsius and left the food in the oven for three hours.

I got a delicious steak, tender but slightly crunchy. Tomatoes and pumpkin & # 8211 dream.

No other garnish, just a little homemade bread to pick up the sauce from the plates.

Turkey confit

What's this jam? Well, it's a steak, so as not to lengthen it or, God forbid, get lost in scholarly explanations. It is traditional in France to make it from duck (usually leg) or goose. After finding out (and eating, at some households in Charente) how to make it, I concluded that it is about the steak of Turda, which is made according to the same model, or as the steak in a jar that women put in the winter The historical Maramureș. Basically, you put the meat in brine overnight, then toss it over low heat in lard. Three or four hours. The French use duck or goose lard, we, the colder ones, use lard, less healthy, say the specialists (just to inform you, to know how we are).

Yesterday, while Ruben working on installing the new face of my blog, I was working on perfecting a turkey confit. Speaking of the new topic, I hope you like it and that I will have enough time to put what needs to be put where it needs to be put so that the browsing experience on my blog is a pleasant one. And speaking of the new topic, I have to thank him Cristian Gog because he showed it to me. So thank you. Now the turkey:

First I prepared the lard (you can buy as much as you want but this time I wanted to do everything myself). I cut the pieces of raw lard into cubes and melted them on low heat for an hour and a bit.

I took the turkey (only wings) out of the brine in which it stayed for a day and a night (well, not exactly brine, I rubbed it well with salt and pepper and left it to cool, to freeze). I removed the excess moisture with the towels.

I prepared the flavors: garlic in which I stuck cloves, dill, a few red peppercorns, a cinnamon stick.

I placed the wings in a tray without overlapping them, poured melted lard over them and put the tray in the oven. 160-170 degrees Celsius, four hours.

You can put the meat with lard in jars and keep it that way for months. If you don't have a refrigerator. If you have a refrigerator, you don't need to worry, but at least once in your life you have to try this method of cooking, not to forget where I came from (not to mention that the result is very tasty).

I put next to my jam a spoonful of onion jam and one of chopped tomatoes (the only sour thing around me) that I recommend you replace with pickles. Cucumbers, cauliflower or peppers stuffed with cabbage. Hey!

Garnish & # 8211 a mousse of potatoes, butter and sweet cream.

Meatballs in the oven, quick and healthy recipe

We always aim to eat as healthy as possible, but it doesn't seem to work out every time as we set out to do and we get rid of our heart's desire.

This is what happens every time, I propose to eat more balanced, healthier, fat-free or sugar-free from tomorrow, but I don't know how almost every time the account at home does not match the one at the fair!

Today a friend asked me to make some meatballs and being quite warm outside, for a limited time I said that the only viable option to finish them in time and get rid of the heat and smell is to put them in the oven and I did well! The allotted time has been halved, the smell in the house almost non-existent, where we add that they do not have any gram of extra fat compared to the fat that is normally found in meat.

For other interesting recipes with or without meat or fasting dishes and much more, find in the snacks section, click here or on the photo.

We slice 20-25 meatballs and make balls into them.

Put them on a tray lined with baking paper and put them in the oven for 18-20 minutes.

Simple, fast, healthy and tasty! Now let me get to work, I hope!

Cooking tips for baked chicken wings

  • The recipe for baked chicken wings is versatile, so you can leave the wings to marinate in several types of mixtures. The wings are highlighted by simple marinades, with yogurt or even intensely flavored mixtures.
  • You can serve the wings with lettuce or french fries. If you want to build a more complex menu, you can place the wings in the tray on a bed of round cut carrots and slices of potatoes.
  • Do you want the menu to be spicy? Replace the paprika with a hot pepper and notice the effects of the delicious and pungent taste.
  • You can "coat" the wings in a generous crust if you pass them through cornflakes crushed with the twister before placing them in the tray.
  • Remember that ginger is more fragrant if you scrape it than if you cut it into pieces.
  • If you forgot to cut the inedible tips of the wings, you can cut them on the plate or leave them at the table.
  • You can increase the cooking time if you want a crispy crust. However, you will need to add onions, which will caramelize and soften the wings to prevent the meat from drying out.
  • For a varied recipe, you can glaze the wings with a mixture of a tablespoon of butter, a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of mustard and a teaspoon of soy sauce.

Baked turkey wings with oranges

Wash the turkey wings well and cut them in half (they are large, half a wing reaches one person). Put the oil and spices in a bowl. Mix all together then grease the pieces of meat with it. Put the pieces of meat in the bowl and let them cool for at least an hour.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thicker slices than for the straw potatoes. Peel a squash, grate it and slice it. Peel an onion and cut it into 8 slices. Orange is washed well then cut into thick slices of about 3-4 mm.

Place the pieces of meat in a round pan greased with oil. Then add the potatoes, carrots and onions. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the vegetables, pour the red wine, cover the tray with baking paper (or aluminum foil) and place in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for one hour. After the hour has passed, remove the tray from the oven, remove the paper and sprinkle the meat and vegetables with the sauce from the tray.

Place a few slices of orange on top and put back in the oven and leave until the meat and potatoes are nicely browned, sprinkling from time to time with the sauce formed in the pan.

When ready, serve the meat with the vegetables from the tray and garnish with fresh orange slices.
