RECIPE PREPARATION Avocado paste appetizer 2:

Guacamole (Avocado Paste)

Guacamole is an avocado paste with onions and tomatoes, consistent, fine and very fragrant. This pasta can be served at any time of the day, with corn chips or Arabic pita, as a side dish next to almost any kind of meat in the oven or in the oven or as a fine appetizer at festive meals.

The avocado paste recipe is easy and quick to prepare, the only care we need to have is for the avocado to be baked, but not too soft and blackened because it becomes bitter. We have to make sure that it is baked, that is, when we press with our finger it is a little soft, but without brown spots or cracks in the skin. If the avocado fruit is unripe, we put it in a paper bag together with a banana or an apple, we keep it in the dark for 2-3 days (in a cupboard), then we can use it. We cut the tomato into cubes after we have removed the seeds and the juice that can make the avocado paste watery. Finely chop the onion, pepper and coriander. After we have prepared the vegetables, we take care of the avocado that must be sprinkled with lime juice (or lemon), so that it does not turn black. Add the hot pepper and lemon juice to taste. At the beginning we put a smaller quantity, taste and add more if needed. We do the same with onions.


Avocado Paste (Green Sauce)

About Avocado, to be honest, I never had any opinion, because that inspired my fruit. No taste, no flavor, nothing. That was until I tasted at a Mexican restaurant, Avocado green salsa and then saw a similar recipe on the Food Channel at Emeril. I adapted what was to be adapted and made a delicious green salsa, following a somewhat combined recipe from Emeril's recipe and everything that inspired the green salsa I ate at the restaurant.

Ingredient:
& # 8211 2 Avocado fruit
& # 8211 3 cloves of garlic
& # 8211 3-4 green onion strands
& # 8211 juice from half a lemon
& # 8211 2-3 tablespoons sour cream
& # 8211 salt and pepper

Finely chop the onion with the food processor, then add the Avocado to the food processor, add the crushed garlic, season the resulting salt and pepper paste, add the sour cream and lemon juice and mix with a spoon. Ideally, you should not put the food processor at very high speed, because Avocado becomes much too pasty.

Colorful appetizer cake with avocado

A colorful appetizer in the shape of a mini cake is ideal to impress. It is ideal for a festive meal, it is easy to prepare and with maximum effect. It looks sophisticated and is also very tasty.

RED LAYER: 150 gr boiled beets, horseradish, salt, oil, vinegar

PINK LAYER: 30 gr smoked salmon, 2 tablespoons cream cheese, 2 tablespoons liquid cream for cooking

GREEN LAYER: half an avocado, a small onion, a cucumber, lemon juice, salt

For garnish: 2 boiled quail eggs, mosaic pepper

Method of preparation

1. For the first layer I grated the beets and horseradish on the small grater. I added oil, salt and vinegar. I mixed and set aside.
2. I prepared the second layer as follows: I put the cream cheese, the smoked salmon and the liquid cream in the blender jar. I thoroughly passed all the ingredients until a fine cream formed.

3. I prepared the green layer from half an avocado, which I passed with a fork. Over it I added small diced cucumber, finely chopped onion, lemon juice and salt.
4. In a kitchen ring I put the layers one by one. I put the beets first, then the smoked salmon paste and finally the avocado paste. At the end I arranged the quail eggs cut in half and sprinkled freshly ground mosaic pepper.

It can also be consumed in the evening, in the form of sauces.

Another important benefit is improving cholesterol levels HDL - which unlike LDL cholesterol, can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Despite being high in calories, avocado can be useful in slimming belts because it increases and prolongs the sensation of satiety.

This effect is due to good fats and fiber.

Studies have linked avocado consumption to a decrease in body weight, a body mass index and waist circumference.

In addition, it can prevent overweight. It can be used instead of sheep mayonnaise, butter and other foods that contain saturated fats.


Festive fir appetizer with avocado paste (guacamole)

Every year we prepare with festive ideas and appetizers, but it seems like there is never enough time, the recipes seem to want something newer, the arrangement ideas too. I go through the same process every time and that's why I thought of approaching in my last live, Christmas Preparations, ep. 2 just this & # 8222problem & # 8221 burners. How to prepare some special festive appetizers for the winter holidays, to be something cheap, handy, super fast and delicious!

So today I come up with a new idea! In fact, it's not really new, considering I prepared it live. But it looks better photographed in daylight and not at night in the kitchen! And since not all of you could shout & # 8222prezent & # 8221, I remade the fir trees and I bring them to your attention today!

I prepared in the house & # 8222base & # 8221 fir trees, ie some Greek mini pita, but you can replace them with the glues you want (preferably also in the mini version, to make beautiful fir trees come out), which you buy from the trade. 8230or do them at home. It's really not hard, it just takes a little longer.

They are very suitable for the whole family, but I am convinced that it will conquer the little ones in the first place! And if you use special cutters for cutting biscuits, for example, you will get some wonderful festive appetizers on any occasion. In addition, you can use more pasta and vegetable pies for variation and color.

Come on, I've given you enough ideas and reasons to get to work, haven't I?


  1. Boil the rice well, wash it with cold water, strain it and pass it in the blender together with the oil and a little water, until it becomes a paste. Pour into a bowl, add salt, dried greens and rice flour. Knead everything well, until it becomes a hard dough, which is left to rest for about 2 hours.
  2. After this time has elapsed, remove the cast iron form in which we will form the buns (similar to the one of walnuts & you know, that old-fashioned shape from the time of our parents :)) and heat it on the stove / hob. Grease with oil, and spread the dough on a sheet on the board, cut circles that are placed in a hot shape on the stove. Bake on both sides approx. 5 min. in total. Now the baskets are ready and out of shape!
  3. After they have cooled, prepare the avocado paste: the avocado half is peeled, and the pulp is passed with the mixer, together with the lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  4. The baskets are filled with green paste, decorated and consumed immediately. Eventually, it can be stored in the refrigerator max. 1 hour.

Tip: if you do not have such a form of cast iron, quite difficult to find, you can use individual forms of savarine, and bake the baskets blindly in the oven Enjoy!


Avocado paste with tuna in its own juice

An entree that you can prepare practically anytime between January 1 and December 31. Avocado it has acclimatized very well in Romanian supermarkets, so that its fruits are available all year round, at variable prices, between 2.49 and 6.99 lei / piece. Tomatoes, thank God, we find again all year round. With acacia wood taste and texture, but we find. Maybe we are lucky enough to find tomato-flavored tomatoes in August, not necessarily at the market, but in gardens with friends. In the off-season, seriously speaking, the only tomatoes that still taste like the childhood tomatoes of those past 40-50 years, are cherry tomatoes. They are several times more expensive than the others, but the thing with "much, cheap and good”Is valid only in commercials that are only good for attracting naive suckers.

What do you need?

  • 2 well-ripened avocados
  • 1 can (185 g) of crushed tuna in its own juice
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 - 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 sprigs of green onions
  • 1 red
  • ½ lemon (juice only)
  • Sea salt and mixed pepper (both freshly ground) - to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon chilli powder - optional, if you want a slightly spicier paste.

How do you proceed?

The shallot is cleaned and finely chopped.

The green onion is cleaned and cut into very fine slices, separating the white part from the green one, the latter being kept for decoration.

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.

The tomato, previously washed, is cut into cubes as small as possible.

Drain the liquid from the canned tuna (not before opening the can).

Mix all the above ingredients in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper.

As the avocado pulp oxidizes very quickly in contact with air, it is added at the end and sprinkled with lemon juice, which slows down the oxidation.

Avocado is cut in half lengthwise, then the two halves are rotated in opposite directions, thus detaching the seeds.

With the help of a teaspoon, carefully remove the pulp from the fruit halves, without damaging the peel, which is then used as a “presentation vessel” for the pasta.

Once the avocado pulp and lemon juice have been added to the bowl with the other ingredients, pass it and mix everything well with a fork.


If you want a slightly faster pasta, you can add a little chilli powder (according to taste and ability to eat spicy).

With the relatively homogeneous paste thus obtained, fill the “boats” resulting from the avocado peels and garnish with green onion rings. Excess paste that no longer fits in the boats is not thrown away. It can be put in a suitable bowl.

It is said that avocado paste is eaten with chips or tortillas and is accompanied by tequila (liqueur obtained from agave fermentation, which is drunk with a pinch of salt and a slice of lemon). Nothing bad happens if you adopt a slightly more local formula for serving: on toast and accompanied by a brandy, brandy or horinca stamp.


Avocado paste

Avocado is cut lengthwise, then, lightly, the seeds are removed. After that, peel it, crush it with a fork. Pour the lemon juice and garlic. Add, to taste, salt and pepper. Mix well, cover and set aside.

In the meantime, a few slices of wholemeal bread are toasted, I opted for toasting in the oven, because I really like the aroma of toast spread all over the house, but if you are in a hurry, opt for the toaster and the job is done in a few minutes.

After the bread has been taken out of the oven, grease it with a little avocado paste.


Avocado has healthy fats, but also natural fiber. And lemon juice also contributes to the flavoring of the pasta, about citrus, claiming that it would prevent the feeling of hunger and help maintain weight. And avocado is a basic ingredient in the diet for maintaining weight, as it contains monounsaturated fats that absorb fat deposits.
